Baby Lydia’s Family

red-squiggle

Baby Lydia was born premature at 34 weeks and was diagnosed with Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), an irregularly fast or erratic heartbeat (arrhythmia) that affects the heart’s upper chambers.  This condition causes her heart to beat about 60 to 100 times a minute. The family is from Sulphur, LA which is in Calcasieu Parish.  Her mother, Ashlynn says, “Lydia’s heart rate has been regulated and she is stabilizing.  Ronald McDonald House allowed me to spend more time with my baby.  I truly appreciated having transportation and meals provided for me daily.  It is nice to have somewhere to sleep that is not a hospital chair!  I might have gone crazy without RMHC due to my financial situation.”
