Layla is a vibrant 7 year-old from Lake Charles, LA. In February 2024, she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma which is a type of rare cancer that develops in nerve tissues.

CJ →

CJ  is from Carriere, MS. He recently had a bone marrow transplant at CHNOLA. When he was 5 years old, CJ was diagnosed with an inherited, rare blood disease that mainly affects the bone marrow called Fanconi anemia.

We recently had a mom from Jeanerette, LA staying in the Family Room while
her daughter Da’Zariah stayed in the NICU due to being born at 30 weeks and having a
hole in her heart.
