Leah

red-squiggle

Leah, a two-year-old from Arkansas, has Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia (PCH), a condition that affects the development of the brain.

In utero, she had a stroke and suffered brain injury. Her family is staying with us while they seek treatment with Dr. Paul Harch at Harch Hyperbarics!

Due to these medical challenges, Leah is late on many developmental milestones for toddlers. She just started walking after she turned two years old. She still loses her balance and is shaky but improves some every day.
Leah’s vocabulary is less than 10 words and difficult to comprehend at times. Her mom Paige shared with us, “Leah couldn’t receive the treatments she needs if we were unable to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. The people here have been a big blessing to our family.”
