Grace McIntosh, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana (RMHCSLA), has been the driving catalyst for growth for her organization since the day she arrived in Louisiana a little over three years ago. Grace works tirelessly to lead RMHCSLA to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.
Through Grace’s leadership, RMHCSLA opened the first-ever Ronald McDonald Family Room at Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital in 2022. Located on the first floor of the hospital, the Family Room provides a dedicated place for families to rest and regroup during their child’s medical journey. In 2024 alone, 162 individuals, 70 children, and 48 families found respite in the Family Room at Lourdes, supported by countless volunteers.
Looking ahead, Grace and her team are excited to continue to expand RMHCSLA’s services to an even greater number of families in the Acadiana region in the years to come.
