Anthony Herques, Cheryl Egan and Michael Flynn were honored on Wednesday, January 8th by the RMHCSLA Board of Directors, who bestowed upon them the title of Director Emeritus for their dedication to the mission.Anthony Herques is a McDonald’s Owner Operator in the Houma area and was the Chairperson of the Board during Hurricane Katrina. His efforts after that devastating event not only enabled the RMHCSLA House to reopen but to serve even more people. His restaurants continue to assist the House through their “Round-Up” efforts.
Cheryl Egan was with McDonald’s Corp. and was the Chairperson of the Board during the campaign to move to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, which enabled the House to be closer to services as well as serve almost twice as many families.
Michael Flynn, CPA served on the Board as Treasurer and provided the Board and staff with sound financial guidance as the organization grew.
In addition, all three have continued to support the organization through both their volunteer efforts and philanthropy.
