And the Eagles’ Team’s video here!

Just days before their triumphant appearance at Super Bowl LIX, the Philadelphia Eagles brought their signature spirit of brotherly love to our House! The Eagles Cheer Team, Swoop (the beloved mascot), former players, and team ownership arrived with arms full of surprises—including plenty of Philly cheesesteaks, gifts for our families, and a special honor for Hyder Brewster, an RMHCSLA Board Member who once stayed at a Ronald McDonald House in NYC as a toddler while receiving critical medical care.

But that wasn’t all. The Eagles also presented a generous $5,900 donation, reinforcing their deep commitment to serving the communities where they live, work, and play.

The entire afternoon was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Their visit was especially meaningful because the Eagles share a special bond with RMHC—after all, the very first Ronald McDonald House was founded in Philadelphia in 1974 with the team’s support.

To have them visit us in New Orleans during their Super Bowl journey was nothing short of incredible. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to the Eagles for making this moment so special.
