Grace McIntosh Named New Executive Director at Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana

August 5, 2021 – Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana announced that Grace McIntosh has been appointed the charity’s new Executive Director.  She comes to RMHC-SLA with more than 35 years of non-profit leadership experience, including serving as the CEO for the American Red Cross in San Luis Obispo County and Deputy Director at Family Service Agency in Santa Barbara.  Grace holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University at Northridge.

She was the 2018 County Woman of Distinction, which recognized her years of service in working with low-income, underserved populations as well as her community-wide efforts in the campaign and development of the new $6.2 million Prado Homeless Services Center in San Luis Obispo County. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Director at Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County (CAPSLO) since 2009.
