When our Family Room opened in December 2022, the Broussard/Guillotte family was our very FIRST family to stay with us!
They stayed a total of 22 nights before their beautiful daughter Audrey was discharged from the NICU.
Since their discharge they have remained in contact with the Family Room. Audrey, her mom and grandmom all helped us celebrate our 1st birthday together with Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
This summer, the family, led by Audrey’s 8-year-old aunt Emmersyn, opened a lemonade
stand to raise funds for local causes and within JUST 3 hours they raised over $550!!
They decided to donate to two causes: the
Ronald McDonald Family Room and Jefferson Davis Parish students in need of school supplies.
She was very excited to give us a cash total of $242.
