Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana (RMHCSLA) is pleased to announce the addition of Angie Schouest to its Board of Directors. Schouest brings a wealth of experience in volunteerism and community engagement to the
RMHCSLA board. She is an active member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), Young
Life and Ascension Episcopal School. She holds several leadership roles within YPO across
Louisiana and the organization’s Western U.S. region. YPO is a global, U.S. based network of
more than 36,000 chief executives in over 142 countries.

“We are elated to welcome Angie to our Board of Directors,” said Grace McIntosh, CEO at
RMHCSLA. “Her board experience across a range of organizations has equipped her with a
strong understanding of collaborative leadership and goal-driven strategy. This experience will
support RMHCSLA’s continued growth and services throughout South Louisiana.”

Since RMHCSLA’s founding in December 1983, the nonprofit has served more than 40,000
families from South Louisiana and across the world. With the help of the local community,
RMHCSLA helps ease the financial and emotional burdens families face as they access critical
care for their children.
